McIntee, Eugene A.

Of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the age of 99 years. Survived by his brother, F. Patrick (Coralynn) McIntee; sister-in-law, Jean McIntee; 17 nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Robert, Vincent, and Lawrence.

He was born on April 29, 1916, the son of the late Owen and Zeta (Lammers) McIntee. He grew up on a farm near Chelsea and Parma Michigan. He graduated from Parma High School in 1935. Eugene was employed by Aeroquip Corporation for 33 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Jackson where he served as an usher. Eugene was a skier, an avid golfer for many years, making his own special clubs. He was a favorite uncle to his 17 nieces and nephews while they were growing up. Family and friends enjoyed his off the wall jokes and stories over many years.

Mr. McIntee is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, November 23 at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Interment to follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.
