Elpidio "Peter" Moreno

Of Jackson, passed away under the compassionate care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice and presence of his loving family on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Mr. Moreno was preceded in death by his parents; Lazaro and Concepcion Moreno; wife of 58 years, Lucy Moreno, and brother, Enrique Moreno.

He is survived by his one daughter; Olga (Elias Jr.) Vasquez, four grandchildren; Richard Vasquez, Rita (John) Masucci, Leticia (Simon) Vasquez and Emiliano (Jessica) Vasquez; twenty-four great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Moreno is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, February 28 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Tim Nelson as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to St. John Catholic Church or Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice, Jackson, MI.
