of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Survived by her 5 children, Gloria Ramos-Yother, Dr. Teresa Ramos, MD, Eleanor Ramos, Joseph Ramos Jr., and Olivia (Tom) Davis; 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin (Sara), Jacob, Tonya, Miguel, Alyssa, Steven (Carley), Leah, Anthony, and Diego; 12 great grandchildren; her beloved cat, Antonio "Kitty"; brother, Rudy (Hope) Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Joseph; brother, Salvador "Chicho" Renteria; and sister, Lois Morales.

Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She played the guitar in the church choir for many years and was a seamstress. She loved crocheting, gardening, and was a big fan of U of M, the Detroit Lions, and especially loved the Detroit Tigers. Mary was a member of TOPS for many years. She recently discovered and enjoyed technology, Facebook, and internet games sites.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 25 at 10:30 AM at the Comunidad Del Sagrado Corazon at St. Stanislaus Chapel, 608 South Elm Avenue, with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Private interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, November 24 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will also take place at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.

Her family is very grateful for her wonderful and kind caregivers, Fresenius Kidney Care, neighbors, and friends.

Contributions to Comunidad Del Sagrado Corazon at St. Stanislaus Chapel would be appreciated.
