Martin (Bullinger), Elizabeth Anne

Was born into this life on November 29, 1927 and has entered into her eternal life on July 9, 2024 at the age of 96. Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard Martin.  Also preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Ellen (Landers) Bullinger, and 10 brothers, 2 sisters, and one granddaughter.  She is survived by her two sons, Bill (Theresa) of Jackson, and Jim (Jennifer) of Wisconsin, and one sister Ellen Lincoln of Jackson.  Also survived by her 9 grandchildren who brought her so much pride and joy: Kelly, Rachel, Sam, Lucy, Alex, and Abby, Katelyn, Blake, Connor.

Anne had wonderful childhood growing up on Homewild Street in Jackson with her 13 siblings. She graduated from St. Johns High School in 1946.  She was the owner of Cut and Curl Beauty shop on Greenwood Ave., and after her marriage to Howard on December 26, 1964, she worked alongside him starting the Spirit Steel business while raising their 2 boys.

At her request, a cremation has taken place.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jackson Relay for Life or Lumen Christi Catholic School would be appreciated.
