Kizziar, Elizabeth Anne
Of Jackson, passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side on June 19, 2024. Survived by her daughters Cheryl Mead, Patti (Rich) Konopka, Marcy (Chris) Elliott, Amanda Kizziar; grandchildren Erica (Marvin) Barski, Bryan (Vernicia) Mead, Jason Konopka, Chyna (Jeff) Mixon, Jadyn Elliott, Liam Elliott; 11 great grandchildren; sisters Barb (Bob) Keyes & Theresa (George) Smith; brothers James L'Huillier Sr., Danny (Lauri) L'Huillier, Timothy (Lauri) L'Huillier; and many special nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Helen; brothers Tommy, Teddy, Gene, Dave, Paul, John; her sister Louise; her children Monica & Eddie; her grandson Brandon and son-in-law Art.
Elizabeth Anne L'Huillier was born June 21, 1938 in Marquette, MI. She graduated from Jackson's St. Mary's High School in 1956. She was strong, loving, hardworking and always put her family first. She worked at Mechanical Products for over 20 years. She spent many of her retirement years caring for her grandchildren. She was a St. Mary's parishioner until 2021 and then began attending Queen's with her family. She cared for others wholeheartedly and was loved for that. She earned the beloved names of Momma Anne, Momma, Aunt Aunt, Grandma, Mimi and Miss Anne. She enjoyed and was talented at drawing and coloring. Anne loved her Catholic faith, her family, helping others, playing Scrabble, doing word searches, listening to music and dancing.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Father Timothy MacDonald will officiate the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at Queen's Church on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Alzheimer's Association, Jackson Friendly Home or Heart to Heart Hospice.
