Griswold, Elizabeth "Betty"
of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Edward Smith) Huffman; son, Matthew (Ulla) Griswold; grandson, Austin; granddaughters, Taylor and Amber; sister, Barbara (Robert) Thomas; good friend, Ellie Chalecki; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Betty was a member of the American Legion Post 29, Auxiliary member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 389, and the Eagles Auxiliary #612.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 28 at 1:00 PM with Fr. James Shaver officiating. Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, November 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
