Erven (Case), Elizabeth Ann
It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Ann (Case) Erven announce her passing on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the age of 82 years old.
Liz was born on November 23,1939. She married the love of her life, William Erven on February 7, 1959 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jackson, Michigan. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She worked with her husband, Bill, at Erven Sales and Service for several years. She continued to work in accounting and finance and went back to school and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance at Central Michigan University. She went on to retire from Jackson County ISD. Her passion in life was serving others, exemplified by her considerable volunteer and charity work, her involvement in her church, and the positive impact she had on all that knew her. Through her work with St. Rita Catholic Church and St. Vincent dePaul she helped organize food drives and outreach programs. She will be remembered as fun and full of joy, she loved reading, gardening, golfing, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. Her kind and generous spirit will be missed by all.
Liz will be missed by her husband, Bill Erven; her children, Kris (Brian) Erven-Brannick, Todd (Kim) Erven, and Anne (Don Aldridge) Erven; her grandchildren, Kelli Brannick, Nicole (Andy) Vertacnik, Jacob (Jessica) Miller, Josh Erven, Travis Erven, Caitlin (Kyle) Williams, Alex (Ashley) Brannick, and Amber Brannick; her great-grandchildren, Genevieve and Violette Akdagli, Drew, Eli, and Emma Vertacnik, Mason Williams, and Maggie Miller; her siblings, Connie Adams, Pat Woodman, Judy Stiles, Earl Case, and Mary DePew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Case, and her sister Marie Nastally.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Church with Father Thomas Helfrich, O.S.F.S. officiating.
The family will receive friends at St. Rita's Church on Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent dePaul.
