died on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 at Cambridge North Healthcare Center in Clawson, MI at age 70. She was born April 24, 1944 in Albion, MI to Harold "Hal" and Isabel Driscoll.
Betsy was passionate about her faith, family and friends. Growing up in Albion she enjoyed many years working in the family store, Driscoll's Market. Betsy was a devout Catholic and long-time member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal parish in Jackson, MI. A talented crafter, she taught private craft classes and owned and operated a craft store (The Knot Shop) for many years. She graduated from Spring Arbor College in Business Administration in 1996.
Betsy is survived by her daughter Shawn Driscoll and Son-in-Law Michael Griffin (Lathrup Village, MI), two sons Michael "Ryan" Ciesluk and Daughter-in-Law Lori Ciesluk (Sterling Heights, MI), and Michael O'Parka (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) , as well as her sister Joan Driscoll (Sebastian, FL), brother David Driscoll (Jackson, MI) and sister Mary-Jo Zurn (Bullard, TX) and many nieces and nephews. She had 5 grandchildren, Sean O'Parka, Conor and Caitlin Griffin, and Mikayla and Ava Ciesluk. She is preceded in death by her brothers Dick and Harold "Sonny" and parents Harold "Hal" and Isabel Driscoll.

The family will receive friends at Desnoyer Funeral Home 204 N. Blackstone St. Jackson, MI 49202 on Tuesday, October 28 from 4-7 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM . There will also be a prayer service held on Wednesday October 29 at 10:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church 606 South Wisner St., Jackson, MI 49203 on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Tim MacDonald officiating . Betsy will be laid to rest at St. Johns Cemetery in Jackson, MI.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church or the American Diabetes Association.
