Covey, Elizabeth Ann (Fitzsimmons)

Passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, at the age of 81, under the loving care of her family, Hospice and staff of the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clyde; two daughters, Susan (Michael) Justian of Horton and Cathy Covey of Traverse City; grandson, Cory; granddaughters, Maryanne (Scott) Totten and Shelly (Steve) Konopacki; great-grandsons, Bret and Colin Justian and Nathin Totten; great-great-granddaughter, Madison Justian; sister, Rita Addison of Lansing; brother –in-law Floyd (Barb) Covey and sister-in-law June Cyrocki; many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann and brother, John (Jack) Fitzsimmons.

Over the years, she formed many friendships through her work at Mechanical Products and D & C Stores. She was known for her beautiful smile and positive outlook on life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

There will be a Prayer Service held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Reverend Father Robert Pienta will be the celebrant at the Mass. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made to the Jackson County Medical Care Facility.
