White (Duross), Eleanore A.

Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Survived by her husband of 48 years, Bernard; two children, Elizabeth (Steven) Palczynski and Daniel (Heather) White; grandchildren, Aleksander, Braden, Caroline, and Madeleine Palczynski and Abby, Abram, Brecken, Gibson, and Clara White; one brother, Thomas Duross; two sisters, Kathleen (Ron) Sill and Patricia Greenlees; brother-in-law, James Demski; sister-in-law, Barbara White; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister, Honore Demski; sister-in-law, Peggy Duross; and brother-in-law, David Greenlees.

Ellie graduated as a social worker from Mercy College in Detroit. For over 30 years she was an Orton-Gillingham Educational instructor, helping students with dyslexia. She was a volunteer and a very active member of the St. Vincent dePaul Society. Ellie enjoyed hot air ballooning with her husband and family. The most important thing in her life were her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Mrs. White is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
