Morrissey, Elaine Mary
Of Jackson went to be with her husband of 59 years Joseph. Elaine passed away at home under the loving care of her family on Monday, July 23, 2012 age 88 years. She is survived by four children; Greg Morrissey, Peggy Matthes who was also her special care giver, Mark Morrissey and David Morrissey. Daughter-in-law Jill Morrissey, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving and special helper, Denise Hagadorn-Greer. Two sisters-in-law, Sister Regina Marie Morrissey and Maureen Morrissey, Close friends and neighbors, Connie and Jeff Adams. Close friend and hair dresser, Laurie Sargeant and her beloved canine companions. Elaine was an avid bingo player and enjoyed the slot machines.
According to her wishes Mrs. Morrissey has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Father Mathias Thelen will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciate.
