Black, Eileen H.
of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Countryside Nursing Center in South Haven, MI at the age of 90 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. in 1984, her son, Thomas in 2006 and her parents, Harry and Eola Horthrop. She is survived by her sister, Jane Gallas; one son, Bob (Cathy) Black; daughter-in-law, Kathie Black; five grandchildren, Alison Black, Ben Black, Andrew Black, Dan (Allie) Black, Elizabeth Black; one great granddaughter, Madison Black. Eileen retired from Cascade Elementary School as secretary after 30 years.
Mrs. Black is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM. Reverend Father Timothy MacDonald will be officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
