Of Parma, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn of 43 years; his son, Tim; parents, Charles and Martha Noppe; brother, Chuck and his wife Gloria Noppe. He is survived by his children, Sue (Bob) Woodman, Linda (Steve) Crocker, Phillip (Cindi) Noppe, Mark (Manerie) Noppe, and Douglas Noppe (Henry Alberico); daughter-in-law, Roberta Noppe; 15 grandchildren, John (Tara) Woodman, Mark (Anne) Woodman, Steven Woodman, Elise Noppe, Audrey (Ross) Capicchioni, Julia (Nate) Guinane, Shawn Crocker, Ashley (Kyle) Ruge, Allie (Phil) Smith, Mallory (Brent) McCort, Rick (Peggy) Mohon, Samantha (John) Graham, Michael (Kati) Noppe, Amber (Kevin) Sanders, and Amanda Dixon (Chad Boggess); 27 great-grandchildren, (with one more on the way); and brother in law, Jerry (Yvette) Bachman.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. James Shaver officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church's Facebook Page.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Lumen Christi Athletic Department.
