Born August 21st 1956 and joined his loved ones in heaven on Friday, June 12th 2020 at the age of 63. He is survived by his wife Becky Lesinski; children Landon Gorzen, Trent (Jodie) Gorzen, Jessica (Matt) Basham, John (Taylor) Lesinski; grandchildren Gavin, Nolan, Brad, Camden, Braylynn, Hayden, Mason, Madison, and Andrew; siblings Rick Gorzen, Derrick Gorzen, Mark Gorzen, Sherry (Dana) Davenport, Sheila Harris , Denise Collis. He is preceded in death by his two loving sons Aaron and Nathan Gorzen, his father Samuel Gorzen, mother Linda (Willie)Nadell, and brother Gregory Gorzen.
He worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections for 20+ years. Ed also built multiple structures around Jackson, and surrounding areas.
Ed had a deep passion for flying, which followed his father's footsteps. He loved fishing, wood-working and helping others in any way that he could, he especially loved his sons, with his #1 pride and joy his grandchildren. Ed was adventurous and loved traveling the states with his wife Becky as they visited 40+ states. Ed could build and fix anything, he was the one people would call to help figure things out. If he did not know give him a few minutes and he would figure it out. Ed loved his morning breakfast at Bob Evans, chatting with his friends, and telling his "Dad" jokes. He was loved by everyone and would give everything he had for someone else.
Even after the tragedies in his life, Ed always was able to show everyone so much love daily; he knew how precious life was and never missed his opportunities for his hugs and I love you's.
