Edward Henry Fudalski

FUDALSKI, EDWARD HENRY

A longtime resident of Jackson, MI, born June 7, 1925, age 96, passed away on March 13, 2022, at Arbor North Senior Living Center under the compassionate care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home Care.

Edward, son of Stanley and Ethel (Urbanowski) Fudalski. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Elaine E. Fudalski (Bapst) and sister, Irene Fullerton.

Ed is survived by his children, Rita (William) Christl, Steven Fudalski. He was the loving grandfather of four grandchildren, Melesa (Doug) Swartz, Kimberli (Moe) Nabil, Ian (Ali) Fudalski and Corey Fudalski; and five great-grandchildren, Luca, Aria and Kailey Swartz, Gemma and Juud Nabil.

Ed proudly served the nation on the WWII USS Hector Naval Repair Ship, in the Pacific Ocean, from 1943-1945.  Ed retired from Hayes-Albion Manufacturing after 35 years of service, along with being on the board of the Hayes-Albion Credit Union for many years. Everyone knew Ed for his humor and good nature, a loving husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, hunting, watching sports and playing bingo. Family and friends will miss his humor and fun loving wit.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place with interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
