Delamater, Edward Alan

of Jackson, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his children, Angie Barnett (Bob Fagan), Pete Hopkins, Christy Taylor (Moose Fagan), and Karen Bodell; grandchildren, Hayden, Brandon (Justine), Samantha, Allen (Melissa), Josh, Shawn, and Damion; great-grandson, Camryn; and three brothers, Mike (Karen), Ronnie (Kathy), and Jim Delamater. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katie; and brother, Dick.

Ed was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes/TRW after 30 plus years of service. Ed enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the VFW would be appreciated.
