Of Parma, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Edward was preceded in death by his son, David; father, John; mother, Clara; three brothers, Frank, Philip and James. Edward is survived by loving wife, Dorothy of 66 years, four children, Daniel (Lou Ann), Albion, Douglas (Sherie), Parma, Lou Ann (Steve) Wilson, Jackson, and Kurt (Jenny) of Grass Lake, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

Edward served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from Consumers Power in 1980. He was an avid outdoorsman and a master gardener. Edward touched many lives with his kind spirit and his sense of humor.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Allegiance Hospice would be appreciated.
