48, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 with his family nearby, after a courageous battle against cancer. Doug is survived by his wife, Cindy, children Kara and Trevor, grandson Hunter; mother Marian (Fojtik) Csikos; brother Jerry (Carol) Fojtik; sisters Terri Matich, Marsha (Danny) Raymond, and Janice (Joe) McAndrews; father-in-law Robert Taft; he was also blessed with ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Fojtik, brother-in-law Bill Matich, and mother-in-law Louise Taft..
Doug was a kind, loving man known for his sense of humor which was with him to the end. According to his wishes Douglas has been cremated.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Robert Pienta officiating.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation to celebrate and remember Doug's life at the Desnoyer Funeral Home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Allegiance Health Foundation to be used for Cancer Care.
