of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joe. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Price, Kathy (Jay) Lamb, Tom (Nikki) Wasielewski and Tim Wasielewski; 10 grandchildren, Joe, Danielle, Mahalia, Lance, Nate, Alexa, A.J., Scott, Kurt and Trent; one great granddaughter, Skyla; one great grandson, Joseph; one brother, Ellis (Millie) Parsons and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy led a wonderful life, providing support and guidance for many. After graduating from Jackson High School, Dorothy held jobs at Yard-Man, Northwest Schools and most recently, for 27 years with Dr. Dann Price, DDS, leaving a network of friends who she cared deeply about and who cared deeply about her.

Dorothy is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Lincoln Cemetery. Reverend Robert Pienta will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. A Scripture Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Catholic Church Heritage Fund or the Salvation Army.

Dorothy was a kind and loving woman and will be deeply missed by all. Her presence has left the world a better place.
