Dorothy L. Rosier

Formerly of Leslie, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Magnum Care of Adrian at the age of 96 years. She is survived by her four children, David (Doris) Rosier of Adrian, MI, Patricia Mackinder of Clark Lake, MI, Gerald (Melissa) Rosier of Daytona Beach, Fl and Alvin Rosier of Leslie, MI; 24 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 39 great great grandchildren; one brother, Alford "Pat" Leach of Rives Junction, MI; one sister, Doris Rice of Felt Plains, MI and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Rosier, daughter, Veverlon Haynes, two brothers and seven sisters.

Dorothy enjoyed singing, crossword puzzles, bingo and casinos.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Leslie United Methodist Church, 401 S. Main St., Leslie, Michigan with family friend Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Leslie.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 N. Blackstone Street in Jackson on Thursday, March 24th from 3 to 7 PM and at the Church on Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.

Instead of flowers the family requests contributions to the Leslie United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank Greenleaf Care Home in Jackson, where Dorothy called home for the last six years, for their loving care and compassion shown to their mother and her family.
