PANCERZ, (MATUSIAK) DOROTHY MARY
of Jackson, passed away peacefully from complications of Alzheimer's disease on January 5th, 2010. She was at home surrounded by family. Survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Chester Pancerz, their 3 daughters, Carol Gallentine, Dorene Hersh and Kasia Pancerz; sister Theresa Mikoll, brothers Tony and Frank Matusiak; 3 grandchildren Heather Weller, Heidi Gallentine and Taylor Hersh and 3 great grandchildren, Nicholas and Sierra Weller and Isabella Crabtree. Predeceased by her son Mark; sister Stella Giermak; brother Chester Matusiak.
Dorothy was born December 13th, 1925 and grew up in Buffalo, NY. She was an avid athlete and passionately involved in Polish Falcons of America and an active member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. She will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, and love for her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held celebrating Dorothy's life at St. Stanislaus on Saturday, March 27th at 10 a.m. Breakfast immediately following at Polish Falcons.
