MAES, DOROTHY J.
Of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 24, 2011 age 94 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Omer R. Maes, son Daniel R. Maes and brother Donald Ritson. Survived by two sons; Richard (Julie) Maes and Jim (Jeannie) Maes. Three daughters; Julie Cram, Nancy Curl and Mary (John) Cooley. 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Sister in law, Mary Maes. She was a longtime active member of St. John's Parish and was devoted to her family. Mrs. Maes is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Father James Shaver will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. Rosary Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. John's Church would be appreciated.
