LOUAGIE, DOROTHY ANN

Of Jackson, passed away at home on Monday, May 21, 2012 surrounded by her family, just 2 months short of her 94th birthday. Survived by six children; Tom Louagie, Mary Lu (Bill) Pauwels, Margie Heavy (Stuart Leigh), Vic Louagie, Dick (Joan) Louagie and Linda (Steve) McIntosh. 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and daughter in law Roberta Louagie. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Victor C., two sons; Robert and Gerald, grandsons; Gary and David, Granddaughter; Ashley and Great-grandson; Harry. Two sisters; Frances Lefere and Mary Louise Vogelsang, and one brother Chuck Perkins. Dorothy was a lifetime member of St. John's Church and was devoted to her family.

Mrs. Louagie is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers to the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6PM.
