Dorothy Ellen Lacinski

Of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 1, 2016 age 88 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bernard C. "Ben" Lacinski. Survived by five children; Tom (Sally Kramer) Lacinski, Ellen (Doug) Matz, Joe (Edna) Lacinski, Linda (Mark) Bunker and John (Christine Heinze) Lacinski. Five grandchildren; Justin (Tina) Matz, Emily (Jim Prus) Matz, Allison and Ashley Bunker and Joey Lacinski. Three great grandchildren; Liam and Aedan Matz and Caleb Prus, brother Donald Schweizer, sister Anne (Don) Bloomfield, and sister in law Nancy Schweizer, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog, Toby. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Schweizer and her sister in law Ann Schweizer. Dorothy retired from the office of Dr. Richard Schnieder, M.D. and was an avid reader. She was devoted to her grandchildren and loved them dearly.

She was a long time member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at Queen's Church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM.

Instead of flowers contributions to the Jackson Right to Life or the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
