Brautigam (Hinkle), Dorothy

Passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 on her 72nd wedding anniversary at the age of 91 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corey. She is survived by her three children, Raymond, David, Sandra (Mike Strader); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Cheesebro; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Nau.

Dorothy was a 1947 graduate of Jackson High School. She liked art, craft, magic, juggling, and loved to travel. She was devoted to her husband. Dorothy could out fish anyone she went with. Dorothy was in bowling leagues. She worked at Mechanical Products, Fields, Sears, Hostess Thrift Shop, and Codo Machine and Tool. She was known as Chickie, Corky, and Slick Chick, her clown personas, where she volunteered at Lyle Torrant Center, festivals, and assisted living facilities.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for her and her husband will be held at a later date.
