HITCHCOCK, DORIS MADELINE
age 96, of Jackson went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was the daughter of Charles & Mattie Hitchcock, born September 14, 1914, in Albion, Michigan. She is survived by one niece Susan Nelson, of California and one cousin, Katherine Arndt, of Green Bay, Wisconsin. She leaves behind her special pal 'Sweetie'. Doris also leaves behind special friends Phil & Ines Titus and Roger & Edyth Gilbert. A special thank you to Sandy Smith for her loving care in Doris's last days. Doris worked for Grindall Plumbing for many years. Doris loved doll collecting and animals. Doris is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where service will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Private Interment Riverside Cemetery in Albion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cascades Humane Society 1515 Carmen Drive Jackson, Michigan 49202.
