Dee devoted her life to taking care of others and she did that very well. She loved music and in her younger years she taught piano and even wrote sheet music. She would always sing and play the organ on the holidays at the family gatherings. She was a great mom to all of us in every sense of the word. She loved to go on picnics at Grass Lake and loved to go fishing with her dad, her husband, Philip, and her son. She helped form a team of bowling moms from the old Cherokee Lane neighborhood in Jackson and bowled with this team for over ten years. She worked for the Davis Molton Insurance Agency for 18 years. After her first husband passed away she devoted herself to volunteering to help others. She volunteered at the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Lobby Gift Shop and in the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospice office. Then she met the second love of her life. She married John and they were fortunate to spend 13 wonderful years together until his passing on October 13, 2019. She was a role model that we all hope to emulate in our own lives and she will never be forgotten.
