Hale, Dock Jr.
Of Parma, MI, age 61 passed away unexpectedly at the U of M Hospital on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was born the son of the late Dock Hale and Sallie Wireman Hale on October 23, 1949 in Waldo, KY. He was a heavy equipment operator for most his life and enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Shelley Hale, Christie Hale (Mike Hartford) Joshua Hale, Olivia Hale and step-son Robert Valdez. Grandchildren Aaron, Brittian & Kristopher Baumgartner, Tyler Hartford and Paiton, Robbie and Matthew Valdez. Also surviving are his siblings, Bridie Shephard, Bessie Huff, Polly Wireman (Elliott), Donald Hale (MaryAnn), Paul Hale (Linda) and Willard Hale (Connie). In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Arnold and Ollie Hale. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including special niece Tammy Myers.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday , May 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service is planned at his family cemetery in Waldo, Kentucky on May 23, 2011.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the family to help out with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
