of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the outstanding care of the staff at Countryside Care Center on January 13, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Survived by four children, Teresa Cook, Joseph (Toni) Proietti,Gerald (Suzy) Proietti, and Lucinda Hawley; grandchildren, Jodi (Brian) Robards, Greg Cook, Jeff Cook, Chris (Leslie) Proietti, Tim (Shanon) Proietti, Joel (Kate) Proietti, Dina Proietti, Nicole (Stevie) Newhauser, James Hawley II, Tiffany (Todd) Bell, and Nicolas Wickham; and eighteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Anthony; sister, Toscha Pilas; son-in-law, Nate Cook; and twin grandsons Granville and Joseph Cook.

Mrs. Proietti is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at Queen's Church on Friday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Timothy MacDonald will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
