Loring (Forner), Diane Louise

Born December 12, 1947 in Chelsea, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Leo Forner and Wandalee (Nohren).  She passed away suddenly on Friday, September 6, 2024 in Jackson, Michigan. She is survived by her children Bruce (Melissa) Loring, Jennifer (Chuck) Wintergerst, and Heather Loring; three grandchildren Lily, Chloe, and John Wintergerst; siblings Edward (Barb) Forner and Rodney Forner; three step grandchildren, Lena, Ben and Joe; Lifelong Bestie Rosemary Leffler and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard "Dick" Loring and Bam Bam her beloved cat.

She graduated from Grass Lake High School in 1966.  Her real joys were on the dance floor, Steven King, cooking, laughing with friends and family and traveling. Diane was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and retiree from Consumers Power in Michigan where she served as Executive Assistant for many years and cherished her time there.  She was also a Foote Hospital volunteer and Toastmasters International Member.

Mrs. Loring is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Reverend Chas Canoy officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
