Kwaske-Lenhart, Diane Lynn
Carried by the prayers of many who lovingly placed her in the hands of our Lord Jesus, Diane Lynn Kwaske-Lenhart was born into eternal life on January 14, 2017. Diane was born in Jackson, Michigan on February 10, 1972. Surrounded and encouraged by her family during a long battle with cancer, she passed away at home.
With many memories to cherish, she leaves behind her husband of 12 years, Brad Lenhart; parents, Ernest & Mary Helen Kwaske; 10 siblings, Steve (Carol) Kwaske, Karen (Dave) Lukasik, Dan Kwaske, Linda (Joe) O'Dowd, Mary Sue (Neil) Sexton, Margaret (Dave) Krul, Phillip Kwaske, Tim (Sarah) Kwaske, Sarah (Brian) Hartley, Cathy (Ryan) Chadderton; Thirty-three loving nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
A 1990 Lumen Christi graduate, Diane received her massage therapy certificate from Baker College and started her own successful massage therapy business. Diane's two boundless passions in life were as an organist and a massage therapist. She began her talented career as an organist at St Joseph's Catholic Church in 1988 and continued on at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church for 27 years. Her healing touch as a massage therapist affected many. She spent this time in her life being joyful and lived a full life. She was a strong willed person with a fun, childlike spirit and had an unwavering love for her faith and family.
The family is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from those who cared for her deeply.
Diane is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM.
In her memory, the family requests that Masses be said for the Repose of her soul or donations made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church for the St. Cecelia stained glass window restoration fund.
