Austin (Dzien), Diane R.
Of Jackson passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice on Sunday, January 19, 2014 age 72 years. Survived by her best friend and husband of 51 years, George. Three sons; Jim (Jen) Austin, George "Bud" (Laura) Austin, Doug Austin, her two four legged children, six grandchildren; Nicholas, Sydney, Cassie, Samantha, Gabriel, and Camden, and one great granddaughter, Aria. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann (Tadzu) Wiszynski and Mary (Jim) Taylor, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Dzien, brother Dennis Dzien and sister Pat Taylor.
Diane was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary's High School and was a retired Surgical Nurse after working for many years. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Diane's memory made be made to the Cascades Humane Society.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM.
