Davis, Delores

of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the age of 88 years. She was born on October 14, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gene Davis; sons, Gene Jr. Davis, Mark (Cindy) Davis, and Ken (Jamie) Davis; daughter-in-law, Linda Chapman; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Christine Trombley; brother, Andy Koziel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary (Mlynarczyk) Koziel; daughter, Debra Lee Davis; son, Curt Hershel Davis; grandson, Jesse James Davis; and great-grandson, Trenton Charlie Davis.

Delores graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit. She worked in the family business her whole life.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at Gene Davis & Sons Banquet Hall on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 12:00 Noon with Fr. Jim Shaver officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at the County Meadows Care Home and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Southern Care Hospice would be appreciated.
