STAFFORD, DELMAR F.
God called Del Stafford to eternal life on July 4, 2011. He was born to John & Sophie April 23, 1925 in Alpena, MI. and is survived by a daughter Chrissy Bachman and son-in-law Robin, brothers Richard Lee of Jackson where Del has resided since 2009 due to health, and brother Larry of California. Del was a World War II veteran. He did extensive volunteer work at the Alpena Seniors Center. He always had a smile and loved listening to his music. All his friends and family in Alpena and Jackson will miss him dearly. He passed peacefully and with dignity thanks to Arbor North Living Center and Great Lakes Hospice. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Arbor North Living Center, 3000 Kingsbrook Drive in Jackson on Thursday at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Arbor North Living Center or Great Lakes Hospice would be appreciated.
