Moran, Debra J.

age 61, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving sisters and families. Deb was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 20, 1960. She dedicated her whole life to taking care of people in her nursing career. She retired from Sparrow Hospital after 30 years of service. Deb then continued her passion of nursing here in Jackson at Dr. Munro's Office and then Center for Family Health. Deb enjoyed her lake house, reading, doing puzzles and just spending time with her family including her dogs, Madie and Mazie.

She is survived by her sisters, Judy (Joe) Sheets, Laurie (David) Nearpass, and Marti (Rich) Kuhn. Deb spoiled her nieces and nephews, Jessica (Tom), Joe (Megan), Keith (Camille), Amanda (Darren), Jenna (Andy), Ashley, Britany, Rachel (Adam), Josh, and R.J. (Chelsea), beloved aunt to 8 grand nieces and nephews; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Connie Moran.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. A private interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Cascades Humane Society or St. Mary's Church would be appreciated.
