Born into this world on January 1, 1936. Dave was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Jackson. After college he served with the United States Air Force, 646th Squadron from 1954 - 1958. After returning home to Jackson, Dave joined the police force and then pursued a career in sales. Dave always looked forward to the annual Trudell Family Reunion, where he would cherish time spent with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, bothers, sisters and their families. Often saying, "love ya darlin" while holding the little faces in his hands. He loved having conversations with anyone who he came in contact with, especially over a game of cards.

All will cherish his memory at the next family reunion.Dave took great pride in and loved deeply his family, his friends, his veteran brothers and sisters, his country, but most, he loved our Heavenly Father.

For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. John 3-16

In his final days Dave was extremely grateful to all his caregivers and he was especially thankful to Jessica Moore for her kindness and compassion. And for Father Tim Nelson who guided dad to peace. Rest in eternal peace dad, and may perpetual light shine upon you. We love you.

In Dave's memory, it would have meant so much to him, if anyone would like to make a donation to St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church or the charity of your choice.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place for immediate family on June 10, 2020.
