Joyful Catholic, beloved husband and father, and number one Lion's fan David Krajewski, of Pleasant Lake MI, peacefully passed away Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017 after a long "dance" with cancer. Dave spent his whole life in the service of others as a Social Worker in many different settings, the last 25 years in his own private practice. In the last couple of years, he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of having his own radio show which aired on Good Shepherd Catholic Radio in Jackson, MI. In the year 2000, David organized a large group of volunteers to build a community park, Play for Peace, at the Pleasant Lake campground. He served his church in various roles: lector, marriage prep mentor, eucharistic minister, and gave many talks, most recently on the joy of dying. Most of all David loved his Catholic faith and his family. David had an unshakable positive attitude toward life, even through the hard times. He saw his cancer, first and foremost, as an opportunity to witness to God's love and the power of faith. His greatest reminder to everyone was to let them know that they were loved and to always stay grounded in truth.

David is survived by the three women he loved most—Sherry, his wife of 28 years, and his two daughters, Erin and Sydney. He is also survived by four siblings: Stefka Krajewski, Donna (Gerard) Trudell, Stas' (Cheryl) Krajewski, and Theresa (John) Gross, and his beloved nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ralph Krajewski, and his older sister, Susan.

Dave has been cremated and a viewing will be held at Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Jackson, MI, with Father Tim Nelson as the Celebrant.  The family will also receive friends prior to the Mass, from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.
