Passed away suddenly at Allegiance Health on Wednesday morning, September 26, 2012 at the age of 56. He is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Ashley, sister Sandie (Brian) Doe, nieces Andella, Abigail and Alyssa, mother and father in law Dee and Bob Liechti, sister and brother in law Sandy and Jerry Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jane Adams.

David was a former employee of Meijer for 18 years and most recently he was employed by Alro Steel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a hot air balloon pilot flying "Ashleys Rainbow" for 9 years.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 122 W. Wesley St. on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Hanson and Rev. Ken Schaeffer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM and on Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church from 10 to 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund or the Balloon Federation of America, David Adams Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.

Dave will be missed by his family, extended family and friends and the entire balloon community.
