Wahr, Daniel C.

Age 65, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vanessa; sons, Jonathan and Joseph D. Wahr; grandchildren, Samantha Rose and Joseph Jr.; brothers, George (Caroline) and Chris; sisters, Susan (Richard) Schuster and Sally (Rick) Renfer; mother and father-in-law, Charles E. (Bud) and Evelyn L. Minder; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Daniel Wahr and Rosette Josephine (Janson) Toon and stepfather, Samuel Toon. He was a 1971 graduate of Vandercook Lake High School and retired from Gerdau Macsteel.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 10 at 10:00 AM with Father Tim Nelson as the Celebrant. The family will receive friends at church, before the Mass, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
