O'Connell, Daniel M. "Dano"

of East Lansing, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Michael) Schoenherr; grandson, Mikey Schoenherr; dearest cousin, Therese Cowan; godson, Christopher Cowan; and many friends, cousins, sister, and extended family members.

Dano was known for his love of playing pool and throwing darts in his younger days. He was an avid MSU fanatic as well as race car enthusiast. In his later years he truly treasured the peace and serenity of the outdoors with his ever faithful dog. He truly enjoyed all that nature had to offer and deeply enjoyed all that the woods had to give.

A celebration of Dano's life will be held on November 20th.
