Dale J. Wallace Sr.
Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 99 years. He was born on November 22, 1923 in Bridgewater Township to John and Mary (Cash) Wallace Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. (Bauer) Wallace; children, Dale J. (Eileen) Wallace Jr., Wm. Paul (Pam) Wallace, Monica A. (Bill) Brooks, David M. (Winniepooh) Wallace, Martha L. (Toby) Mangas, and Marlane H. (Doug) Hahnke; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary E. (Rusty) Bodman; and brothers George, Vincent and John.
Dale was a WWII Veteran and he served in the Army in the Artillery Division. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a 4th Degree Knight.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on his 100th birthday, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Fr. Timothy MacDonald Officiating. A private interment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Manchester. The Mass will be live streamed on Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church's Website (www.queenschurch.com) or the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church's Facebook or Youtube Page.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM and a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Chalice Service to follow. The family will also receive friends at Queen's Church on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
