Proseus (MacKenzie), Curt F.
Curt was born on October 27, 1956 and passed away on December 10, 2020 from Covid 19 at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon Proseus and Marilyn Houghton. He leaves behind his brothers; Denny Merx, Mark Proseus, Robb (Cindy) MacKenzie and Justin (Lara) Houghton; sisters, Victoria (Richard) Demboski and Heather Davis.
Curt was born as a special needs person, but never, ever, let that hold him back. He attended both Lyle Torrant and Northwest High School, graduating from Northwest in 1976. One of Curt's proudest moments was representing Michigan in California at the Special Olympics in the 220 yard dash in 1972.
As a family we are going to miss this "Special Guy". You take care "Big Boy".
The family would like to say "Thank You" to all of the staff on the Covid Unit at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital. They are all heroes.
