Brautigam, Corey O.

of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 96 years. He is survived by his wife of 71½ years, Dorothy; three children, Raymond, David, Sandra (Mike Strader); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Nau. Preceded in death by his three brothers, Norman, Dale, and Raymond.

Corey was a United States Navy Veteran, having served in World War II and Korea. He retired in 1985 from Havard Industries, and went on to establish CoDo Machine and Tool. He was also a founding member of the Blackman Township Fire Department. He was a leader in both Boy Scouts and 4H.

Corey was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was an avid reader who enjoyed Westerns and mysteries.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corey's honor to Macular Degeneration Association or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
