Teachout, Cora Gail

Of Jackson passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Gail was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Lyle Teachout; her sister, Carlene Acker; and a special friend, Mae Shaw. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Donna) Teachout; grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Kristanna and Bethany; and two great grandchildren, Delilah and Aaliyah, all of Jackson; sister Frances (John) Heany of Fowler Michigan; and special friends, Ralph and Judy Woodard.

Gail worked for Foote Hospital for 34 years, most notably in the Pediatrics Ward and the Diabetic Center. She also worked through Jackson Community College training many new nurses. We could hardly have a doctor appointment around town where someone on staff would know Gail from Foote or JCC. Gail and Wayne visited many states in their RV and found a more permanent RV home at Prairieville, Michigan, where they made many friends. They loved their country music.

Visitation will be at Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a short service at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. David Kamke. Gail will join her husband Wayne at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
