Bartlett (Brown), Constance Jean "Connie"

of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family and staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her granddaughters, Jade (David) Beard and Carly (Stuart) Tenniswood; five great-grandchildren, Ella, Georgia, Lake, Nina, and Mara; son-in-law, John Romanowski; two brothers, Richard (Karen) Brown and Tom (Rhoda) Brown; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, T. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Russell Bartlett; daughter, Bonnie Romanowski; and brother, Bernard L. Poole.

Connie worked her early years in many factories around Jackson and then owned her own beauty shop in her home until she retired.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
