Haigh (Urschalitz), Constance
3-31-1938 to 8-14-2021
of Round Lake, Horton passed away under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Allen; four children, John (Sally) Durfee, Michael (Denise) Blair, Betsy Fanelli, and Kevin Blair; stepson, Brendon (Mary) Meyers; eleven grandchildren, Joe, Laura, Matthew, Lindsay, Solomon, Alexandria, Michelle, Mike, Justin, Mekenna, and Cooper; eight great-grandchildren; special brother-in-law, George Vinson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Coach Bobby U; three sisters, Rosie Chaffin, Shirley Vinson, and Betty Diver.
Connie was affectually known by many as Grandma Connie. She was a longtime and helpful member to all those who were suffering from the disease of Alcoholism. Connie was involved in community theater including Clark Lake Players, ardent Spartan, followed the Tigers and Lions, and enjoyed golfing and being with friends and family.
Connie's last wishes are that we all take "one day at a time."
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson officiating. Private interment will be held at Clark Lake Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at St. Mary's Church on Thursday, August 19 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
Those who wish may make a donation in Connie's memory to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
