WALICKI, CLARENCE "SONNY"
Of Jackson passed away at home under the loving care of his grandson, Anthony Crego and his granddaughter, Amie Stern (Crego), at the age 71. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Phyllis Walicki and his daughter, Leah Lynn Crego. He is survived by four children, twelve grandchildren; and twenty nine great grandchildren.
Sonny enjoyed racing and building Custom Hot Rods and was the owner of the Wisner Street Bar. Mr. Walicki is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father Robert Pienta will officiate at the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Contributions in Sonny's memory may be made to St. Mary's Star of the Sea.
