Iuni, Christopher Michael

Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 48 years. Survived by his two sons, Michael (29) and Alexander (27) with his childhood sweetheart, Kim Iuni. He is the son of Michael and Linda Iuni, and William and Linda Fitch. Christopher has two amazing grandchildren from Michael, Taylen (11) and Alannah (10) and their mother, Angela Adkins. He also is survived by his two brothers, Patrick (Gina) and their three children and Russell Iuni; two step-brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Linda J. Fitch

Christopher spent his childhood in the Jackson area. He graduated from Jackson High School and worked for the local 704 Union Construction after taking college courses at Jackson Community College.

Christopher had several battles in life which he persevered through landing him in Northern Michigan where he started his business C.C.I. (Chriss' Custom Installations) where he thrived as a hard working dedicated man, who always put others needs before his own.

After 20 plus years in Northern Michigan he made lots of friends and family and was known to many as Poppa Chris.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Bart Hall officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery will take place at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
