Of Jackson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to natural causes on Thursday, April 15, 2021 age 35 years. Survived by his wife Jennifer Hewitt (Buhler), son Max William (age 5), step daughters Nevaeh Marie (age 19) and Taelyn Zoey (age 13), his mother Cynthia Spalding, father Richard Somerville, grandmothers Lora "Nell" Hewitt and Elaine Christianson, mother and father in law Scott and Gale Buhler, stepfather Joe Harvey, stepfather Lyle Spalding, uncle Bill (Vicky) Hewitt, cousins Tony and Travis Hewitt who were like brothers to him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Delbert "Del" Hewitt. Chris graduated from Vandercook Lake High School and Michigan State University. He then graduated from the Western Michigan Cooley Law Program. Chris was a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for Comcast Business. He could make anyone laugh and was an endless supply of useless knowledge. He was a true Trekkie and was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating. The service will be live streamed on the Church's Face Book page.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to his son Max's Education Fund at the True Community Credit Union would be appreciated.
