Christine graduated from St. Mary's High School and Jackson Community College. She moved to Chicago to attend Art School to be a designer. She had a friend who talked her into starting a newspaper called Advertising Age depicting activities in the Chicago Area. So she put her journalism skills to great use and help publish this paper for several years. Chris then decided to change jobs and became a manager of a high-rise apartment complex in Downtown Chicago. She held this position until she met her future husband Jim on a ski trip. They were married on November 4, 1978 and moved to Naperville, IL. They lived there until his death on Sept. 9, 2012. Chris then moved to a complex for three years and then moved back to Jackson. Chris loved to travel and had been to Europe and many different places in the US. She and Jim went to Florida for a month in the Winter. She loved to read, and loved to take bus trips to the casinos. She belonged to a Garden Club in her neighborhood and her yard was a real attraction. She was very active in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
According to Christine's wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E. Wesley Street, Jackson, with Father Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday, July 7 from 9:30 until 10:00 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. Mary's Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
